alhamdulillah we managed to throw a simple and yet meriah birthday party for muhsein last saturday (cum tahlil for my late FIL) with angry bird cake and nasi arab as the main eatery from mommy and abah. other tid bits were either made by my SIL or MIL for the tahlil.
i ordered nasi arab from kak normala and it tasted so good that me and hubby had it countless time enjoying its hot and spicy nature. the delectable apple salad still lingers on my tastebud. sedap sangat.
this is not going to be a long entry as i am in the midst of packing our stuff for our trip to melbourne tomorrow.
this is the best shot taken from the event. by the way, i didn’t get to capture pictures of the tahlil as i was busy blowing the baloon in our room while our extended family were downstairs reciting yasin and doa.
